Brad Pitt or makeup brushes

If I were stranded on a desert island,
The only survival choices left me are Brad Pitt and makeup brushes,
I love Brad Pitt so much, but I had to choose makeup brushes,
Because I want to look good when found by the rescue team! “

This is from MAC’s global artistic director NADINE LUKE who is to promote the new MAC makeup brushes.

This great advertisement push me stand in front of MAC counter, clearly look through all the makeup brushes. However I have been lazy for too long to recognize their function , eyeshadow brush , blush brush , lipstick brush and so on ,I usually only use liquid foundation and blush, and only know the difference in bristle quantity, length and shape, or sometimes I will consider if the makeup brushes are made of pony hair or something else.

Once I was crazy for a man Hong Kong makeup artist named Joseph, seeing that he coolly took various makeup brushes from a black makeup bags, and then applying in my face for several minutes, then I look much better. After that I impetuously buy a bunch of makeup including blush, lip gloss, eye shadow, eyeliner, powder, and of course a full set of makeup brushes (and buy the most expensive BB makeup brushes (Joseph is the makeup artist of BB). If can not find in China, I will ask friends to buy from Hong Kong, however, now all cosmetics and makeup brushes have been staying in my table for a long time.

My crazy to makeup only lasted six months, that time I got up early every day and use makeup brushes to makeup for half an hour. However, finally I give up.
Now I imagine that if I face the same choice, which should I choose? Brad Pitt or makeup brushes? I believe my answer will be makeup brushes, but with different reason.

I also love Brad Pitt,
But I have to choose makeup brushes,
As if I can not be beautiful in front of Brad Pitt, I would rather he never appear in front of me.
So I give up Brad Pitt and choose makeup brushes.

half-moon blush brush

These days, I have been communicating with a Bulgarian company who is the manufacturer of decorative makeup products and they need little brushes (mini brushes) to put in their blush box. They just told us that they prefer the blush brush with half-moon handle, so I send a type of existing brush which may meet their requirements for their confirmation.

Some information of the brush is as follows:
Name: half-moon blush brush
Size: 40mm*18mm (length*width)
Bristle material: goat or pony
Picture:

We also send them the picture and quotation for their confirmation.

The next day, we got their reply and they us send their blush box picture, unfortunately the blush box diameter is 40mm, so the brush size must less than 40mm, that means that our existing brush is not ok for their box, so the only solution is to open a new mould for the brush handle.

Then we sent them the quotation of molding fee for their confirmation. Generally the molding fee should be afforded by the customers who want to custom makeup brushes, while if the following order quantity is big enough, we, as a chinese makeup brush manufacturer for tens years, can somewhat reduce or cut the molding fees.

Makeup Tools: A Beginners Guide

Remember using those tiny sponge applicators with play makeup when you were a kid? Its time to ditch those wee makeup brushes and wands that come packaged with compacts and eyeshadow palettes. Sure, theyll work in a pinch, like when youre running late for work or need a quick pre-date touch-up, but to get the most out of her makeup collection, a girl really needs the right tools for the job.
Makeup Brushes
To create a work of art, whether on canvas or your eye crease, artists will often reach for a makeup brush. Specialized makeup brushes exist to help us apply and blend colors to create different makeup looks. When it comes to makeup brushes, hoard them like pirate treasure! Buy as many different makeup brushes as you can comfortably afford. Youll use your brushes every day, and you wont regret having a variety from which to choose.
Makeup brush design varies across brands and according to function. Brush heads may be made from natural fibers like squirrel (yes, squirrel), goat, sable, or horse hair, while others are made from synthetic fibers. Dont be afraid to experiment with a variety of brushes made from different fibers. Theres no better way to find your ideal brush, but be aware that some people are allergic to certain animal hairs. Try to use just a single new brush or beauty product at a time, and limit its use initially. That way, if your skin does react, youll know which product to blame.
Face Brushes
We use them to apply foundation, concealer, powders and blush.
Foundation Brush: Used to apply foundation to the face and typically made from synthetic fibers. Most foundation brushes have a small, rounded brush head shaped like a tiny spatula.
Concealer Brush: Concealer brushes look like mini foundation brushes. Being smaller than foundation brushes makes them better suited for covering blemishes or for applying liquid concealers in hard to reach places like the corners of the eyes.
Powder Brush: With a large, fluffy brush heads and soft bristles, powder brushes are ideal for applying loose powder to the face.
Blush Brush: They resemble smallish powder brushes with either a sloped or rounded tip. Great for applying blush or bronzer to cheeks.
Eye Brushes
There are lots of eye brushes to choose from, which is a blessing for brush hoarders like me (I own over 30, yikes) but a curse for makeup newbies. Start your collection with the essentials.
Eyebrow Brush: Eyebrow brushes have firm, angled brush heads like the tip of a marker. Use them to apply powders, creams or waxes to brows.
Eyeshadow Brush: Not as stiff as an eyebrow brush, eyeshadow brushes have square heads used to evenly apply both powder and cream shadows to eyelids. I reach for this brush so often that I might as well have it permanently attached to my hand! Expect to use these a lot.
Blending Brush: Like the name implies, blending brushes are used to blend different colored products and to wipe out harsh lines. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Not as firm as eyeshadow brush heads, the heads of blending brushes are usually tapered. This will be your second staple brush (behind your eyeshadow brush).
Concealer Brush: Used to cover blemishes and imperfections on the face, concealer brushes have a thin, pointed tip, much like a fine-tipped paintbrush.
Crease Brush: Fluffy and soft, crease brush heads come in several different shapes, from thin and tapered to round and fluffy. The shape you choose will depend more on personal preference than anything else. Look for a brush head that feels soft against your eyelid and fits into the hollow of your eye.
Lip Brushes
At one time or another, most of us have applied lipstick straight from the tube. As much as I love my brushes, I have to confess: I do this all the time! Lets face it, applying lipstick straight from the tube is much easier than reaching for a lip brush, and sometimes you just dont have the time. However, when you feel like rocking a deep, dark scarlet or a bright matte fuschia, a lip brush is the only way to go. It provides more control and precise lipstick application than a tube. Like concealer brushes, lip brushes have a firm, thin tip. For on-the-go lipstick application, look for a covered lip brush, which comes with a cover to protect the brush head while youre traveling.
Choosing the Right Makeup Brush
Brushes range from budget-friendly (less then $10) to uber-expensive ($250, ouch!). Save for them and cough up the dough, girlfriend, because theyll get plenty of use. Buy the best makeup brushes you can afford. MAC Cosmetics brushes have a good reputation, but shop around. Sonia Kashuk, sold at Target stores, is another good brush brand for the money.
How to Clean Your Brushes
Regularly cleaning makeup brushes extends their useful life. Some makeup lines sell liquid brush cleaning solutions, but baby shampoo and water also work well. Antibacterial wipes provide a quick way to clean brush heads in the car or wherever water would make a mess. After cleaning your brushes, reshape the brush heads with your fingers and line them up on the edge of a shelf or sink to dry.
Short- Versus Long-Handled Brushes?
Brush handles come in different lengths and weights, and which one you choose depends on your personal preference. Small hands might prefer short brush handles.
How to Store Your Brushes
For cheap, easy brush storage at home, stand them up in a glass (brush heads up). When youre on the road, use a brush roll, which is a folding bag with slots for each brush. It rolls up like a sleeping bag.

Selection of Sizes of Makeup Brushes

When applying makeup it is important to choose the right Makeup brush for the type of makeup that you are applying. Using the wrong Makeup brushes can result in smudges and clumps of makeup that cause you to look run down or cheap. When applied correctly and with the right brush blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, powder and bronzer can leave you with a beautiful natural glow that will turn heads and break hearts.

When applying powder you will want to use a really big fluffy brush that can hold a lot of product without causing clumps. If you get a Makeup Brush that is too small it will take you much longer to cover your face with powder and will leave a streaky or clumpy look on your skin. The bigger the brush the most disperse the powder will be leaving a flawless finish. You need to get an angled contour brush for the hollows of your cheeks, without the angled brush you can miss these hard to reach spaces and that can result in your face looking round or fat. The angled brush should be smaller than your blush brush which is also smaller than your powder brush.

The blush brush should be medium sized and soft so that you do not apply too heavy blush which will make you look like a clown. With your soft blush brush use circular upward motions to get a sexy rosy glow that looks natural and enticing. If you choose to use bronzer this brush should be the biggest of all and also soft with many bristles so that your bronzer does not clump up.

There are many different styles of brushes and sizes as well, knowing what type of makeup you are applying is important because you need different Makeup Brushes for different types of looks and styles.

I would say the bronzer brush is one of the most important next to the blush brush because it has such a dramatic on your face and if applied in correctly will look streaky or dirty. For your eyeliner you will want a tiny stiff brush so that you can apply your liner quickly and efficiently. A soft eyeliner brush will cause you to make your line to wide and will take forever to get the color applied. When you are buying Makeup brushes you really get what you pay for so don’t be cheap when it comes to your face.

Selection of Makeup Brushes

You’re getting ready to go out for the evening and it’s time to apply your makeup. Well before you begin here are some good Makeup Brush Application Tips for you. There are five good makeup brushes you will need to apply your makeup correctly. One is your Blush Brush. This brush will be slightly tilted so you can apply the blush into the hollow of your cheek. Many like to put blush on the apple of the cheek and this is good but be sure you don’t go to dark with color. It is best to do the hollow of your cheek first and then if you want a little more light on the cheek then highlight the apple of your cheek. This can really bring out the face and even make your eyes more prominent.

Your next brush is a good Eyeliner Brush. This brush should be very thin at the tip and slim in length. This will help reach between the lashes and the outer corner of the eye. Eyeliner applied correctly can open your eyes and make them truly come alive. Be sure to have a good Eye Shadow Brush, this brush should have a flat edge so you can get into the crease of the eye and corners. The brush will also be used to blend colors together and should be soft and pliable. Use color to bring out the color of your eyes. For example: (green eyes are beautiful, when pink, plum or light brown shades of shadow are applied). The color of your shadow should never be the same color as your eyes. Gold or bronze can also bring the color of your eyes alive.

Lets not forget the lips; Your Lip Brush will also be thin at the tip, so your lipstick can flow with the shape of your lips. After all we want our entire face looking good. This Makeup Brush can also be used for lip liner if you decide to use it. Remember your liner should be close to the lipstick shade as not to stand out. This way you look well put together.

There are many different types of Makeup Brushes to choose from, knowing exactly what kind of brush to use for what type of look is very important. It can mean the difference between makeup looking amazing or just so so.

Another Makeup Brush Application Tip is a full brush for all over application of face powder, highlighter or shimmer. This brush should be a full fat brush. If you decide to put shimmer on after applying your makeup use this brush and be sure to tap the brush to get off any extra power or shimmer.

It is very important that you keep your brushes clean. They should be washed weekly with mild soapy water and be sure to rinse well and lay flat to dry, this helps keep their shape. There is one more Makeup Brush Application Tip you need to know; those brushes made from animal hair are your best investment. They may cost a little more, but these brushes last much longer and hold their shape better.

Finding a great makeup brush is the key tool you will need in your search to achieve that perfect look. Having the right tools to do the job can make all the difference in your overall appearance.

something on makeup brush set

Q: I want to buy a makeup brush set, and wonder how many brushes in a makeup brush set, and what is their function?

A: It depends on your personal habit, generally there are the following brushes: 3 eyeshadow brushes in different size (large size, middle size and small size), 1 eye brushes,1 lash curler, 1 lip brush, 1 blush brush, 1 powder brush.

For many ladies, they usually use eye brush, blush brush and powder brush. Lash brush is not essential because now the mascara is very good in quality, there is no need to use lash brush. Lip brush is not necessary because many females are using lip gloss not lipstick which needs lip brushes. Some use finger instead of eyeshadow brushes for eyeshadow makeup.

Many girls buy the makeup brush sets which have too many makeup brushes, while they often not use them all, so it is somewhat a waste to buy a full makeup brush set. It is suggested to buy individual makeup brushes according to personal demand.

Makeup brushes

Makeup brushes are manufactured to last for years and not only make applying makeup easier, but also get a much better look. There are different manufacturers, sizes, functions and materials used to make these brushes. The bristles of makeup brushes can be natural as well as synthetic. Sometimes synthetic bristles are more durable for the job they do, like working with cream consistencies. The significant of blush brushes

The blush brush is more important than you may realize when it comes to the look of your makeup.  The wrong blush brush can apply too much blush, apply it in streaks or clumps, or apply too little powder to your cheeks.  Since blush covers such a large portion of your face in contrast with mascara or eyeliner, blush mistakes are the second most unforgiving makeup mistakes you can make.  So put a little effort into selecting the perfect blush brush for you.

You can buy a wide variety of blush brushes made from different materials.  Some blush brushes are made of sponge, some of natural hairs, and some of synthetic materials.  You can also buy retractable brushes for easy transportation in your purse or makeup bag.  When buy makeup brushes, you’ll need to know what materials you may have. or you may get cheeks red with rash instead of your favorite rouge.

You need to replace your blush brush regularly, but especially after an outbreak of acne, cold sores, or boils.  Your blush brush can contain bacteria and viruses after an outbreak, so you need to get rid of them so you don’t re-infect yourself.  Blush brushes also wear out, and even your favorite brush can start to clump and streak on you.

A quality blush brush doesn’t have to be expensive.  They can be quite affordable.  It will take some experimentation to figure out exactly which blush brush will give you the look you want to achieve, but trying new things is part of the fun of getting to wear makeup.  It’s like getting to play dress up, and experimenting with color, applicators, and products is just part of the fun!

You will be amazed at the choices of blush brush you have available to you.  You can get brushes that are made by hand in other countries and makeup brushes made of exotic materials.  You can get brushes that are mass produced in factories, and you can get packs of brushes in most dollar stores.  It is super simple to get a few of these blush brushes and start playing around with them.  You won’t regret taking the time to experiment with different looks.  You must know at least one person who doesn’t get her makeup right, and she either looks like a clown, or a streetwalker, or something even sillier.

You don’t want to be known for your makeup blunders, you want to be known for your good looks.  So take some time and make a good blush brush your priority today.

Teach you to choose the essential makeup brushes

Not all makeup applicator brushes are essential. Learn what different applicators are for and how to use them, how to make them last, and natural hair vs. synthetic fiber brushes.
You may find a lot of makeup brushes inside a makeup artists bag. In fact, not every makeup brush is essential for each individual. Which brushes you consider essential is likely a function of which part of your face you emphasize with makeup. For example, if you dont have to spend any time taming flyaway eyebrows, its unlikely that you even know eyebrow brushes exist or that you could pick one out of a bag full of makeup brushes
If youve always applied makeup right out of the container, youve probably never had the occasion to use an applicator brush. Many women apply lipstick directly from the tube, cream eye shadow and blush, and pressed face powder, none of which requires an applicator brush.
Makeup applicator brushes come in two varieties: synthetic fibers and natural hair, such as squirrel hair. The natural brushes are often superior to the synthetic brushes, but synthetic brushes made from Taklon are high quality. The worst synthetic brushes can feel like youre dragging sandpaper across your face. When you buy brushes, make sure that they are soft to the touch and that the handle fits comfortably in your hand. If you care for your brushes properly, they should last for many years. It pays to purchase quality brushes if youre willing to take care of the brushes. Youll find your makeup easier to apply, your finished look more natural, and the whole makeup process faster with the proper tools.
Well explore how each brush is used, and then you can determine if you need or want to experiment with applicator brushes to achieve a different look. If you invest in quality makeup applicator brushes, wash them thoroughly once a month and allow them to dry naturally.
Concealer brushes
Concealer brushes are small, narrow and firm, tapered toward the end. If you hide dark circles under your eyes with concealer, its best to apply and blend a liquid concealer with a makeup sponge. Applicator brushes work best with cream concealers.
Eyebrow/Mascara Brushes
Eyebrow brushes are often two brushes in one: eyebrow brush and mascara comb. You can purchase either separately, but if you need both, purchase a two-in-one combination brush. At one end youll find a brush to tame flyaway eyebrows and coax them into submission. Turn the brush in your hand one-half turn, and youll find a brush to separate eyelashes after applying mascara. While many women find no need for an eyebrow brush, almost any woman who applies mascara will find the mascara tool indispensable.
When a mascara tube has been open for several months, the mascara begins to lose moisture and dries out. No amount of pumping the applicator brush in the tube will restore the mascara to its former silky texture. Its a futile exercise. If you want to extract and use every bit of mascara, you need to separate the clumps with a mascara brush immediately after application, before the mascara dries.
Eyeliner Brushes
If you wear liquid or cream eyeliner, the eyeliner applicator brush is an essential component of your makeup arsenal. The brush is similar in appearance to a lip brush, thin and tapered to a point toward the end. If you use an eyeliner pencil, you will need a sponge to smudge the eyeliner, not a brush.
Youre probably wondering why you would need an eyeshadow applicator brush when eyeshadow comes with a little sponge or brush applicator. If you apply the eyeshadow to one eye with a used sponge applicator, the application is often uneven and sometimes the sponge disintegrates right onto your eyelid. The sponge applicator is good for exactly one application. After that, the shadow becomes compressed on the sponge applicator, and youll receive an uneven application. After a few more applications, the sponge inevitably falls apart. You dont want little pieces of sponge creeping into your eyes. Youll receive a more uniform application and a more natural finished look from the proper eyeshadow applicator brush. Further, those miniature applicators that come with eyeshadow are unwieldy and uncomfortable to hold, if not impossible to manage. What you save in expense by using the little sponge applicator, you lose in lost time correcting the eyeshadow application.
Youll need two eyeshadow applicator brushes. Use one for dark colors and one for light colors.
If you highlight the eyelid crease with a darker shade, youll want to invest in an angled eye shadow brush. The brush is flatter than a regular eye shadow brush, and the angled end makes application easier in tight spots. This applicator brush is essential to properly apply and blend the darker shadow into the crease.
Blush Brushes
If you use powder blush, a high quality blush brush is essential. Cream and liquid blushes require a damp sponge for proper application. Those little brushes that often accompany powder blush are worse than useless. If you have ever used one of those brushes, then you know that the blush looks streaky, and its next to impossible to blend the blush properly with those brushes. Blush is supposed to give you a healthy glow, not an angled streak from mid-nose to the upper cheekbone. The brushes that come with powder blush are usually flat, and a proper blush applicator brush should be fluffy, and rounded at the end. The brush is almost identical to a face powder brush, except smaller. If you apply blush away from home, invest in a quality travel brush.
Face Powder Brushes
Most women who use powder use loose face powder at home and pressed powder away from home. Applying face powder too heavily accentuates wrinkles. Application is much easier to control with a brush. The face powder brush is fluffy and fat, and its rounded at the end. In fact, its the fattest of the makeup applicator brushes. For the most natural application, buff powder onto the face, and use less than you think you need. Add more as necessary. When using pressed face powder, instead of using the powder puff, invest in a high quality travel brush. If you dont, pressed powder can look unnatural and resemble stage makeup.
The professionals will scream at the top of their lungs that no self-respecting woman would apply lip color without a brush. Every makeup artist in the world uses these thin, tapered-to-a-point brushes. Whether or not these brushes are essential is up to you. Lip color is applied in a variety of ways, and is probably best applied in the manner you find most comfortable and which produces the most appealing look.
Makeup (Foundation) Brushes
If youve never heard of applying foundation with a brush, thats because youve never tried the new powder-based foundations composed of minerals from the earth. There is no other way to apply this foundation. You buff the foundation on the face with a face powder brush. In fact, it is a face powder brush, but youll need one brush for the foundation, and an additional face powder brush for the powder.

How to Use a Blush Brush

When many people think of blush, they think of gaudy pink cheeks or scary-looking clowns. Fortunately, blush doesnt have to be your worst nightmare. In fact, it can give you a healthy-looking glow and help you create flattering contours. Learn the right tricks and application techniques, and you just might make blush your new secret weapon.

Things you’ll need:

  • Mirror
  • Blush pan
1.Use a gentle cleanser to wash your face. Apply moisturizer and then brush on your regular foundation. Proper hydration is essential for flawless-looking skin, and it only takes a few minutes every morning.
2.  Get a feel for the area youre working with. Suck in your cheeks and locate the outer edges of the cheek bone. This is the area where youll be applying blush. You can also apply blush to the apples of your cheeks for a softer look. The "apples" are found about an inch from the nose in the middle of your face.
3. Pick a blush color. The next time you hit the gym, notice the color of your cheeks when youre just starting to feel warmed up. Pick a color similar to this slightly flushed shade. You can also look for a blush that matches your natural lip color, or be daring and go for a dramatic blush color that matches your "going out" outfit.
4.Toss out the brush that comes free with your blush. Look for a large, angled brush with a slightly rounded head to apply blush and create contour. Select a brush with soft, natural bristles for optimal coverage.
5.Run your brush across the color palette. Tap the brush on the side to remove excess powder. Dont press hard on the brush, or youll gunk up the bristles with powder.
6. Use an upward sweeping motion to apply blush to the outer edge of your cheek bone. Add a hint of color to your chin and forehead to create a natural, warm look to your face.
7. Take a look at your face in natural sunlight. Blend any areas where color is excessive or uneven.

Figure out the makeup brushes you need

It is important for ladies to figure out what makeup brushes you need. They all seem to play a big role and the makeup brushes sellers always introduce too much makeup brushes to you.
The way you can actually figure out what makeup brushes you need can be determined by how often and to what extent you use makeup on a daily basis. If you hardly ever wear makeup, you may be better off without any or sticking to the ones that come with the makeup you buy. Also, before you decide to buy the makeup brushes, ask yourself the following questions:
·    Do I wear makeup on a daily basis or only occasionally?
·    When I do wear makeup, what essential items must I have (foundation, powder, eye makeup, lipstick)?
·    How much time do I typically devote to applying makeup (a few minutes, 30 minutes to an hour)?
·    Do I care about application techniques or do I just want it to look presentable?
Unless you’re a makeup artist, you may not need tons of makeup brushes. Cheap or expensive, they all eventually begin to add up in dollars and if you’ve got brushes with dust on them, it’s pretty obvious you aren’t being practical. When shopping for new brushes, stick to the following four makeup brushes and you’ll be set, no matter how complex or simple your makeup regimen is:
Eyeshadow brush: This type of makeup brush is ideal for applying eye makeup in a way that is neat, clean and flawless. The way the brushes are created allows them to pick up the color and apply it to your eyelids more efficiently and with a better finish that most sponges or the typical eye shadow applicator brushes that come with the compact. Many eye shadow brushes come with angled or tapered hairs with short handles. The beauty of this makeup brush is that you can create all kinds of looks from the sexy smokey eye to the mysterious winged look.
Concealer brush: For those of you who want to mask imperfections such as dark under eye circles, blemishes, scars, and pimples, having a good concealer brush can be your saving grace. Choose a concealer brush that has oval bristles or smaller tips to help you accurately cover up hard to reach places on your face. Even if you have pretty decent skin, there may be a day when the concealer brush will no doubt come in handy.
Angled brush: As the name implies, the angled makeup brush has bristles that are shorter in length on one end and longer on the other end. Angled brushes are ideal for applying eye liner in order to control the width of the line and can also be dipped in brow powder and used to add definition to eyebrows. You’d be surprised what one angled brush can do for your makeup palette!
Blush brush: This type of makeup brush is wide with a rounded shape, which makes it perfect for picking up and depositing blush or regular powder evenly without streaks. Choose a size that fits your face and feels good in your hand. Don’t forget to tap off excess powder before using this makeup brush on your complexion.

How to Apply Blush

Blush, sometimes called as the rouge, is the quickest way to give face fresh, beautiful and less tired look. Blush makeup means the flush of colors on face while you blush.  Blush is very important makeup accessory to give your face an instant color. Blush is applied at the end, when all other makeup like foundation, eye color and lipstick is done. Applying blush should be the last step. You must carefully choose the color of the blush you want to apply on the face.

Types of blush

You can choose blush for yourself out of various kinds.  A blush may be in liquid, cream or powder form. It is more convenient to use cream blush in the morning when you apply it first during the day and retouch it with powder blush any time during the day. But you cannot first apply powder blush and then retouch with cream blush. This is because, if cream blush is applied on the powder blush, it will blotch on your face.

For oily and combo skin, powder blush is reliable. Cream blush is specially designed for dry skin. Liquid and gel blush are good for oily skin. Some makeup artists like to combine cream and powder blush both for greater luminosity and for keeping it for longer time. If you choose cream blush, keep in mind that color of cream blush should be a shade darker than that of powder blush. Cream blush gets absorbed in the skin and shade gets fade while powder blush stays on the skin and keeps its color stable.

Steps to be followed for applying blush

- Choosing right color for blush is the first step towards successful application of blush. You should choose color according to your skin tone. Blush should be of that color which comes on your cheeks just after exercise or being in cold. To see the flush of color on cheeks, just spank them a little. You can match it with your lip color. People with fair skin can choose olive, rose and peach and dark colored people can go for apricot or reds. Color of the blush also depends upon the form of blush as told above.
- Throw away those tiny brushes, which come with blush pack; instead buy a full sized professional brush for perfect application of the blush.
- Take blush on the brush and tap off any extra blush on the brush. Otherwise take a dab of gel on your finger.
- Now to find the spot where to apply blush, look into the mirror and smile. It will help find apples of the cheek where you are supposed to apply blush. For a healthy flush, you should apply blush on the apples of cheeks and it should be in light and steady movements. Always apply a little blush in the beginning and add more if desired.
- Blending is the key. Blend it perfectly with the rest of the makeup.
- If you have applied more blush powder than needed, you should dust a little translucent powder over it. If it is cream blush, blot extra blush with tissue. Liquid or gel blush stain the face, so to lighten them, you will have to wash the face and reapply it again.
- After desired application of blush, dash a little translucent powder.

Methods to Choose Right Blusher

Blusher adds some warmth, freshness and glow to the skin and its not very difficult to apply blush powder on your check bones. Its just that that one should know the right shades for ones skin so that one can add some sparkle to ones make up. Blusher is a kind of highlighter to highlight your hollow cheeks and give your face and features a bright look.
Blusher can be used with make up in form of cream or liquid blush on. One can go for natural shades or the very bright ones as per the age and choice. You should not buy the blusher shade just after seeing it on the pack or on the shade card because it might look totally different on your skin tone. So while choosing a blusher you can test the shade on the reverse side of your palm or on the arm and it will give you an idea how it will look on your face. If you want to test it on your cheeks then you can ask the sales girl to help you in that.
Ideal way to put blush on-- the ideal way to put a blush on this that it should not look too gaudy or patchy. It should look perfectly natural otherwise it will spoil your overall look than to enhancing it. Stand in front of the mirror where you have proper lights to check your make up and colors. Apply foundation first and then apply 2-3 strokes of the desired shade of the blusher on your cheeks with a broad, soft brush on the apple of your cheeks in upward motion. After that you can apply eye make up, lip make up and compact to give your make up a finishing touch. If you dont know the right area on the cheeks where you should apply the blusher, you should make a smiling face and then the prominent area, which you get on your cheeks, are the apple cheeks where you need to apply blusher.

Choosing the right color-choosing the right shades for blushers are very important and here too one has to remember that all shades do go well in the day and night. One should apply different shades for day and night. As most shades life beige, peace, and baby pink look good in the day but might not look equally good in the night.
Shades of pink, peace and beige suit better on fair skin and shades of browns, plum and bronze go well on dark skin. Tanned skin should choose shades from orange, maroon, peach and coral. Yellow tone skin can apply shades of warm brown, warm pink and almond to look the best. So as per the skin tone one should choose the shades for ones skin. If the skin is dry or normal one can go to cake shades and creamy shades for the blusher but powder blusher is the best suited for the oily skin type.
Rectify if too much blush on is put on the cheeks. You can pat a clean tissue on the cheeks where you have put extra blusher or wipe if off gently with cotton ball. You can dust it off with a clean blusher brush and can re apply the blusher again. Slightly applied translucent powder too reduces the brightness of the blusher if applied more.
So one can use blusher while making up too add some extra glamour to ones look and add some more color to the face.
