save on makeup brushes

Makeup brushes are a good example of when synthetic can actually be simpler on your life. Synthetic brushes are easier to clean and easier to use with wet makeup than their much more expensive natural bristle cousins (which can come in pony, squirrel, goat or badger hair).

That said, cheap makeup brushes wont last nearly as long as well-made brushes. For this reason alone, I suggest investing in affordable brushes from Sephora, M.A.C. or Sonia Kashuk (available at all Target stores). These brushes arent "cheap" but they wont break your bank, like my bevy of Trish McEvoy brushes broke mine years ago when I invested in them. Just as you a gourmand need only three types of kitchen knives to cook like a chef, you need only 3-4 makeup brushes to get flawless makeup like a model.

Extra tip: Always throw out the tiny brushes that come with department store makeup. Youll get a much smoother, flawless finish with a professional makeup brush.

Makeup brushes is a consumable

Even the professional artists may still use the makeup brushes whose bristles have been worn, however, the makeup brushes are consumable, we should immediately replace them once find the bristle worn.

The makeup worn includes bristle broken, crack, irregular or aging, the worn phenomenon depends on the hair types or use frequency. However, if we feel the brushes hold less powder or have worse touching feeling, it is the time to change the makeup brushes.

Generally, we should change makeup brushes once 3-5 years. Also, after long time, the bristles will be easy to break and crack.

The significant of blush brushes

The blush brush is more important than you may realize when it comes to the look of your makeup.  The wrong blush brush can apply too much blush, apply it in streaks or clumps, or apply too little powder to your cheeks.  Since blush covers such a large portion of your face in contrast with mascara or eyeliner, blush mistakes are the second most unforgiving makeup mistakes you can make.  So put a little effort into selecting the perfect blush brush for you.

You can buy a wide variety of blush brushes made from different materials.  Some blush brushes are made of sponge, some of natural hairs, and some of synthetic materials.  You can also buy retractable brushes for easy transportation in your purse or makeup bag.  When buy makeup brushes, you’ll need to know what materials you may have. or you may get cheeks red with rash instead of your favorite rouge.

You need to replace your blush brush regularly, but especially after an outbreak of acne, cold sores, or boils.  Your blush brush can contain bacteria and viruses after an outbreak, so you need to get rid of them so you don’t re-infect yourself.  Blush brushes also wear out, and even your favorite brush can start to clump and streak on you.

A quality blush brush doesn’t have to be expensive.  They can be quite affordable.  It will take some experimentation to figure out exactly which blush brush will give you the look you want to achieve, but trying new things is part of the fun of getting to wear makeup.  It’s like getting to play dress up, and experimenting with color, applicators, and products is just part of the fun!

You will be amazed at the choices of blush brush you have available to you.  You can get brushes that are made by hand in other countries and makeup brushes made of exotic materials.  You can get brushes that are mass produced in factories, and you can get packs of brushes in most dollar stores.  It is super simple to get a few of these blush brushes and start playing around with them.  You won’t regret taking the time to experiment with different looks.  You must know at least one person who doesn’t get her makeup right, and she either looks like a clown, or a streetwalker, or something even sillier.

You don’t want to be known for your makeup blunders, you want to be known for your good looks.  So take some time and make a good blush brush your priority today.

Synthetic makeup brushes

Synthetic hair filaments have become generally accepted as an excellent alternative to natural hair makeup brushes and in the cosmetics area work best for applying creams including primer, concealer, foundation, eyeliner, lipstick and lip gloss, eye brow creams and gels. Synthetic hair is not real hair, but polymer filaments made to look and act like hair. The best synthetic hair brushes are constructed using a mixture of filament diameters to achieve the flow of colour from the brush to substrate. The spaces between the shafts of hair hold the colour, which is displaced by the air when being used.
Synthetic hairs are available in a variety of diameters, lengths, colours, stiffness, and qualities. The synthetic makeup brushes vary in thickness and resiliency, the filament comes to a tapered point and some are grooved or roughened to hold product. Just as with natural-hair brushes, manufacturers may blend different synthetic filaments to achieve desired characteristics. Natural hair may be part of the composite as well taklon and nylon are among the more popular choices of synthetic hair.

The construction of makeup brushes is normally divided into three parts: the bristle, the ferrule (metal part) and the handle.
