If delay on shipping date

 Having been in makeup brush industry for over 15 years, we always try our best to meet the delivery date, however, occasional delay is still avoidless. We really hope to get understanding from customers. As a makeup brush manufacturer, we cannot always control everything.

Sometimes, during quotation, customers are not satisfied with the lead time we offer, and request a best delivery date, then we will offer them the best time which does not allow anything wrong. But it is impossible that everything always moves on well, sometimes the raw material cannot come into our factory as agreed; sometimes the production or inspection or transportation etc, each part may cause the delay!

Sometimes, material suppliers cannot offer the material as promised; sometimes, unexpected issues during manufacturing; sometimes everything goes on well, while at the final inspection, some makeup brushes may not pass the inspection and need to rework; sometimes, all packages have been ready for shipment, while something wrong with the forwarder…

Why customers not reply emails

 Many international sales may meet such a same problem: customers do not reply emails. They write to us to custom makeup brushes, but they never reply any email…….

Have been working as makeup brush international sales for more than 10 years, I summarize the following possible reasons (take makeup brushes for example):

1. Customers really do not need the makeup brushes, they are not the potential customers and may be annoyed to get so many emails, so some will pull our email address to the blacklist; some may reply like this: please remove me from your email list etc. For such customers, it is better to not send any email to them anymore.
2. Some are really potential customers, they do not reply emails at once because they have no demand at present, once they have demand, they will contact you. Serious delay on shipping container

 The labor shortage due to COVID-19 has caused serious congestion in the US and Europe ports since 2020 October. Especially Los Angeles port and Long Beach port, 85% shipments need to be anchored for at least 8 days, and the detention time of container cargo at the port is up to 2 months. The congestion of foreign ports, the disorder of logistics supply chain and the reduced efficiency have led to serious shipping delays. The on-time rate has dropped from over 70% to about 20%, which has seriously affected the operation efficiency of containers. Besides serious delay, due to short supply of containers, the shipping charge is also soared, before, one container charge maybe around USD4000, now it increases to USD20000! The high sea freight charge also causes the increase of air freight.

 For large order quantity, customers should understand that there will be More or Less on the shipping quantity.

Sometimes, customers order 50000 set makeup brushes from the makeup brush manufacturer, but the actual shipping quantity may be 500010 sets or 49990 sets.
It is normal for makeup brush industry. Due to the service to custom makeup brushes OEM, each customer has different requirement on the brush size and material, there is no standard package for makeup brushes, and even the outside carton size is the same, the inner package is different. Some may have inner carton, while some only have OPP bags.

One way is the workers firstly put the same quantity into inner carton, and then count the quantity by the quantity of inner cartons. For example, each inner package has 100pcs brushes and there are 10 packages, then the quantity is 1000pcs. However, the quantity is counted by human beings not machine, so maybe there are 101pcs or 99pcs in one package, so the total quantity may more or less than 1000pcs.

Another method is weighing unit weight of each brush, and then weigh the total brushes to get the quantity. For example, each foundation brush net weight is 40g, 100pcs in each carton, so each carton net weight is 4kg, gross weight is 4.5kg. Then the workers put brushes into the carton till the weight reaches 4.5kg, the quantity should also be 100pcs. Although it is done by Digital scale, there still will be tolerance, as each brush weight is 100% the same, some may be 39.5g, some may be 40.5g, so the quantity in each carton may not be the same.

Generally, we will put several spare parts in each carton in case of such tolereance, so the exact shipping quantity is usually more than the order quantity. Anyway, we are not able to promise that it is always the case.

If after carefully counting, you still find that the shipping quantity is less than order quantity, please immediately contact us via email or phone; we will send the less quantity to you via express or in next shipment.

About the lip brush quality

 If you order some makeup brush sets from a makeup brush manufacturer, and have not enough time to 100% inspection after receiving the shipment. We suggest you check the lip brush at first.

That is because lip brush is easier to have quality problem.
