Now private label has become more and more popular. Then what is private label? According to Wikipedia, private label products or services are typically those manufactured or provided by one company for offer under another companys brand. Private label goods and services are available in a wide range of industries from food to cosmetics to web hosting. They are often positioned as lower cost alternatives to regional, national or international brands, although recently some private label brands have been positioned as "premium" brands to compete with existing "name" brands.

 

Simply speaking, private label is the same as custom. And the factories who offer private label service or products also called OEM factories.

 

Take makeup brush for example, the customers who want to have their private label makeup brushes, that means they want to custom makeup brushes with their own logos or labels on the makeup brushes.
