Sweet and thoughtful customers

We have explained the importance of effective communication with customers in previous articles. In fact, communication can not only help us to understand customer requirements, but also can show us how sweet and thoughtful our customers are.
 
Recently, we received an order from one customer, and sent samples on Sep 25th for customer confirmation. As we will have our Chinese National Holiday from Oct 1st to 7th, we ordered all materials on Sep 29th in case that our holiday may affect the delivery time. However, on Sep 30th, customer sent us emails and required to have longer handle for batch brushes.
 
We understand that it is our fault and we should afford the big loss. We should wait until customer confirms the samples. However, to reduce our lost, we try to communicate with the customers via email and phone. We thought it should be a tough negotiation, as customers should get required makeup brushes.
 
We firstly sent emails to customer and wait their reply urgently. But customer does not reply our emails during our national holiday, she thought we were in our holiday and would not send any email.
 
On Oct 8th, we called her, she was surprised and said she needed to discuss with others, after 1 hour, we got her feedback with a long email. The customer expressed her understanding to our situation and agreed to accept the original size!
 
All in our team do not how to express our thanks to the customer, we have decided to make the best brushes for this customer.
 
During makeup brush production especially for custom makeup brushes, we often meet this or that problems; some may because customers do not clearly express their requirements, some may because makeup brush factory misunderstand the requirements, or some other errors.
 
Once any problem happens, the makeup brush manufacturers and customers should understand each other and work together to solve the problem. As makeup brush manufacturer, we should immediately notify customers any situation, sometimes, even it is our fault, customers may give us some surprise and show us their thoughtful and understanding.
