The scale of Chinese makeup brush factory

Although there are so many makeup brush factories in China who can custom makeup brushes, their scale is usually not big.

 

It is known that the complete line of makeup brush manufacturing should include the following: handle manufacturing, ferrule manufacturing, hair manufacturing, Decorations and Assembly.

 

For handle manufacturing: if wooden handle, it should have polishing and painting; if plastic handle, it should have molding facility and injection machines; for ferrule: it needs cutting machine and punching machine; for hair, it should have ETO/Sterilization and hair organization; for the customers who need to print their logo on the brush handle, it needs Hot stamping, Silkscreen printing, Pad printing, Spraying or Metalizing.

 

While few Chinese makeup brush factory can have all above facilities or lines. Most of them only engage in assembly and packing. Usually, there is around 30 staff in most Chinese makeup brush factories.

 

Such scale limit their business opportunity, it is hard for them to get orders directly from big customers, most of them sell the brushes to trading companies with low margin, while the trading companies can sell to international customers with much higher price.

 

Most of these factories are owned by privates. The factory owners really want to enlarge the factory scale to get more customers and profits, while they can not afford the high cost and risks.

 

Although these Chinese makeup brush manufacturers have small scale, most makeup brushes in world wide are come from these factories. The makeup brush quality will not be affected by the scale. They really can offer good or top quality brushes with low price, that is why now many worldwide customers would like to directly cooperate with these small factories.
