Material choice of different part

Normally, the makeup brushes will consist of three parts, i.e. the bristle, ferrule (metal part) and the handle. Of course some brushes just consist two parts, for example Kabuki brushes.

 

Anyway, although we can manufacture all kinds of makeup brushes, our advantageous products are mini makeup brushes for cosmetic boxes, for example, mini lip brushes, sponge applicators and mini blush brushes.

 

We all know that the cosmetics company will only leave little space to their cost on mini brushes. So many customers who want to custom makeup brushes from us, would like to use our existing or similar handles with different bristles or ferrules, as the fee to opening new brush mold is very high, for makeup brushes, the molding fee can reach USD 2000, that is too expensive when the unit price of mini makeup brush is sometimes just USD0.1. So often there are some customers would like to use our existing handles but require different bristles and ferrules.

 

For example some customers would like to custom mini blush brushes from us, they would like to have a handle size like 25*35 but with Nylon, because Nylon is much cheaper than pony hair or goat hair. But the question is for mini blush brushes with 25*35 handle size, they only consist of two parts: bristles and handles, if use nylon, it will look very strange and also can not reach its function. So usually we will not suggest customer choose such combination.

 

Therefore, although we can custom makeup brushes and customers can use any possible material, but as a professional makeup brush factory, we will give you some suggestion according to our years’ experience. Please remember that sometimes the bristle material should depend on the handle size.
