About mini blush brushes

Just like sponge applicators, mini blush brushes are usually put into the cosmetic boxes as a free gift to customers.

The dimension and shape of mini blush brushes depend on the cosmetic boxes, so while designing the cosmetic boxes, the designer should have a clear mind on the mini blush brushes that will put into.

As a makeup brush factory with tens years experience,we have made many mini blush brushes for worldwide customers, like half-moon shape, blend shape etc. The material can be changed upon customer requirements:

If customers have any interest in our existing blush brushes, it is easy to buy these blush brushes from us, you will no need to pay the molding fees; if customers would like to custom makeup brushes, it is also ok, but you also need to pay the molding fees.

Benefits of the Sponge Applicator

A fellow newbie and I were discussing something very instrumental to makeup application. The sponge applicator! We got into this bronzed spat about the brush and the sponge applicators.

A true newbie doesn’t make much of a distinction between the two. A great deal of us are a step up from using our fingers to apply eye shadow. And don’t act like you didn’t do it.

But really….which gives better color pay off? Applying eye shadow with a makeup brush or sponge applicator?

Now the newbie who thinks she knows something would say, “The brush of course,” And while I can’t deny the majestic wonders of blending brushes and angled brushes, we can’t neglect some of the pretty nifty tricks that the sponge applicator provides.

Oh yes girl…I’m not even playing. I know you thought that it was the epitome of newbism but I have found that the sponge tip applicator can deliver exceptional color payoff for pigments and eye shadows.

Say you want a very vibrant look. I mean, so vibrant that people can see the detail on your lids in a dark club. Your pal, the sponge tip applicator is a pro at allowing you to pack on color. And when I say pack, try wetting it just a bit and dabbing color continuously in the same area. A makeup brush, of course, can do the same thing but not to the magnitude that a sponge can.

Please note that my implications are not that sponge applicators are better than brushes, just that they too have beneficial uses.

But is this just me? How do you feel about using sponge applicators? Please tell me your views!

The sponge of eyeshadow applicator

Many cosmetics manufacturers will offer free sponge applicators within the eyeshadow box. To save cost, the size of these sponge applicators is usually very small, and sometimes with no ferrule, so the price is very low.

Many mini sponge applicators only have two parts: sponge tip and plastic handle; some may have double sponge tips. The sponge can be ordinary sponge or latex sponge. Generally, the ordinary sponge is cheaper than latex sponge.

To custom makeup brushes for eyeshadow box, if you pay more attention on cost, ordinary sponge applicator will be better; if you pay more attention on quality, latex sponge applicator may win.

As a makeup brush manufacturer, we will meet all customer requirements.

We have strict quality control on sponge applicators. Our sponge tips are purchased from reliable suppliers, once getting the sponge; our QA department will inspect the sponge quality, return the unqualified products and require suppliers to correct.

Before shipment, our QA will also inspect the sponge applicator, if find any unqualified items, the QA will require the workers to rework.

We believe we will win more and more customers of sponge applicators with our good products and in the name of professional makeup brush factory and reliable makeup brush supplier.

Double sponge applicator

Double sponge applicator means that the eyeshadow applicator has two heads, maybe one is sponge and the other is brush, or both heads are sponge.

Then, why use double sponge applicator?

In fact, sponge applicator is not so perfect for makeup; it is usually within the cosmetic box. So to save or control cost, the makeup manufacturer has to control its cost.

The main cost of sponge applicator is on the handle, so if one handle can connect two heads, it will greatly reduce the cost.

To custom makeup brush for cosmetic box, customers should always have ideas in mind, that means when they design the cosmetic box, they should leave space for makeup brush, and after confirming the design, they should let the makeup brush manufacturer know the detailed size of the makeup brush they left in the cosmetic box.,

Tensile Test of makeup brushes

Due to the different requirements on makeup brush quality and grade, during custom makeup brushes, some of our customers may require tensile test on the makeup brushes.

As a makeup brush manufacturer, we can do the tensile test for customers; however, we can not do it by ourselves but should send our makeup brushes into special institute for test, so it will generate certain cost.

For sponge applicator, the tensile test is to test the pull force between sponges and handles, and between ferrule and handle. For pull force between sponge and handle should no less than 0.5 lbs, and the ferrule and handle should no less than 2.5 lbs.

For lip brush, the tensile test is to test the pull force between bristle and handle, and between ferrule and handle. For pull force between bristle and handle should no less than 2.5 lbs, and the ferrule and handle should no less than 3.0 lbs.

Generally our quotation is just EXW price, not including any special requirement or test, so our quotation does not include the fee of tensile test.

If customers want to do the tensile test, please firstly contact us for quotation.

To return makeup brushes

Today, our inspector came to me angrily; she showed me the sponge applicators returned from one customer. I was surprised by the deformity sponge applicators.

All the sponge applicators are melt together, it is hard to separate them by hand, and the handles are also melt. The inspector was very angry about such sponge applicators are returned to us.

Obviously, it is not our quality problem, because our working condition is not so hot, in fact not hot at all. So, it should be the customer’s problem. But they returned the products and required replacements.

I believe no makeup brush manufacturer can accept such returns, if it is really our quality problem; we will certainly replace them, however, if the problem is caused at customer side, it is unreasonable for us to afford such lost.

Therefore, we should claim that: if you would like to return our makeup brushes or sponge applicators, please firstly contact us and let us know the reason, also send us the defects pictures, we will check and advise if returns are acceptable; if we confirm the returns, we will send you an RMA# for track, only after you get the RMA#, you can return the makeup brushes or sponge applicators, after getting your returns, we will send you the replacements ASAP.

The naming rule of our makeup brushes

For makeup brush manufacturers, as there are so many existing makeup brushes in their sample book, and once there are customers want to custom makeup brushes, the confirmed samples must also be added to the sample book. So every makeup brush manufacturer must have its own naming rule for makeup brushes, although the rule varies from makeup brush factory to makeup brush factory.

As for Toney, our makeup brush names are mainly base on the handle size and brush type. For example, 1152C means that the handle size is 11*52mm, C refers blush brush; and 327B means the handle size is 3*27mm, B refers sponge applicator. In our factory, A refers lip pencil, B refers sponge applicator, C means blush brush, and D means lip brush.

Professional Makeup Brushes

Using Makeup Brushes
Makeup brushes were used long before sponge applicators. Most of the original types of makeup brush were derived from natural sources, mostly horsehair. Today’s makeup brushes are largely made from synthetic materials. Professional makeup artists prefer to use brushes rather than applicators. The reason for this is that the amount of makeup can be controlled more easily than with an applicator and brushes provide a more natural, finished look.
Types of Brushes
Professional makeup brushes are created to apply eye shadow, eyebrow powder, blush, lipstick and mascara. There are specific sizes for each use and application. Look for professional makeup brushes made from the most natural materials for the best results. It may take a bit of adjustment to make the switch to a professional makeup brush. It’s well worth it. For one thing, it reduces the amount of makeup applied. With makeup brushes, a tiny dab is all that’s needed to apply eye, lip and blush to the face. These brushes last a longer time than applicators and they can be refreshed with a simple soap and water bath. This is important to protect the eyes from contaminants that cling to an applicator over time.
Makeup Brush For A Professional Look
Powdered foundation is applied more evenly with a professional brush. Any excess is simply brushed away. Learn to use the right strokes when applying makeup with a brush. For the face, begin at the lower cheekbone and brush outward toward the hairline. Brush the chin lightly. For eye makeup, brush from the inner to the outer area of the eyes. You’ll find that applying eye shadow with a professional makeup brush also helps avoid the end-of-day creases when shadow build-up occurs most often. Apply blush or rouge in a single stroke from the just beneath the cheekbones outward toward the hairline.
Applying Lipstick the Professional Way
No matter what shade of lipstick you prefer, applying lipstick the way the professionals do is relatively easy. Use a slim lipstick brush to outline the outer edges of the upper and lower lips. Then, just fill in the rest of the lip area. One good tip is the balance the lower palm of your hand against your chin when using a lipstick brush.
