MAC brushes will also have float hairs

Some customers trust MAC brush quality very much, and sometimes they even overrate the MAC quality.

 

For example, recently, there is a customer want to custom makeup brushes which are equal to MAC quality. After getting samples, she cleaned them with a mild brush cleaner and found that some hairs fall out, she was extremely surprised about this and believed we cheat her on the quality, per her description, MAC brushes will never fall out hairs, so our brushes can not reach MAC quality.

 

The truth is the MAC brushes she had have been used/cleaned for many times, it is impossible to have any hairs falls out. While our brushes are newly made and never been cleaned, the hairs falling out is the float hair.

 

It is known that for a new makeup brush, it is normal to have 2-3 hairs fall out. And before usage, the users should firstly clean the brushes which can remove the float hairs and can also ensure hygiene. After the first cleaning, there will be no more hairs fall out. I believe it is also the situation for MAC brushes if without cleaning before the first usage.

Since we will have our Chinese New Year holiday from Jan 14^th-31^st, we really hope that customers can confirm their demands within this week no matter samples or orders. Then we can do all preparation before the holiday and start production after holiday.

Please note that we will have our Chinese New Year holiday from Jan 14th to 31st. If you need the brushes urgently, please kindly try to confirm the order within this week, so that we can do preparation before the holiday, immediately start production once our back to office and send you shipment within February. If we get your order after our holiday, the delivery time will be later March.

 

We really hope that our holiday will not affect customer’s demand on makeup brushes. Although we will be available via email during holiday, our production line is stopped; and after being back to the office, there will be a lot of orders waiting for production, so if customers can confirm orders within this week, that will be very helpful.

Shipping charge advances for customers

It is known that most Chinese makeup brush manufacturers quote EXW price, which does not include any shipping charge or taxes besides production cost. The customers should arrange and pay the charge to deliver the makeup brushes to the port or their office.

 

If customers would like to ship via sea/air, they should require their Chinese forwarder to pickup the makeup brushes from the manufacturer or factory and afford all related charges; if customers would like to ship via express like DHL/UPS/FEDEX, they should advise their account# and then the makeup brush manufacturers will call DHL/UPS/FEDEX to pick the packages from the factory.

 

However, some customers do not have any forwarder in China or any DHL/UPS/FEDEX account #, so it is hard for them to handle the shipment at their location. To solve such problem, some customers will want to pay the shipping charge to the makeup brush suppliers in advance, and then the suppliers arrange all related issues and pay all related fees.

We will firstly estimate the total weight and size of the packages, then inquiry our forwarder about the shipping charge, of course, we should tell forwarder of the estimated delivery date and get an estimated charge; after getting total estimated shipping charges, we will send all information includes: package size, carton numbers, total weight and shipping charge to our customers. Then customers can have a rough idea about the charge. Some customers may want to compare the charge with their local forwarder to check if the makeups brush suppliers cheat them on the charges.

 

If customers confirm that they would like us to pay the shipping charge at our side, they will need to pay the shipping charge to us before the shipment. After getting their payment, we will arrange everything at our side and pay the shipping charge to our forwarder.

 

Sometimes, the actual charge is more than what customers paid us, if not too much money, we will afford such difference by ourselves; if the difference is too big, we will negotiate with customers to solve such issue: customers pay the difference before the shipment or in next order.

 

The suppliers handle the shipping will greatly save money and time for customers. If the charge is paid by customers once collected, the charge may be 2-3 times of prepay. Therefore, it is really a good way to handle the international shipment.

Post product information on B2B website

Many international sales will post their products or selling leads on B2B website like Alibaba, Made-In-China etc. Although there will be few customer can be found from these B2Bs, many companies still would like to have a position on them.

 

Why few companies can get order through B2B? That’s because the customers send emails to all potential suppliers on the B2B; some just would like to get some market information through the communication with the suppliers or manufacturers; some aim to get the lowest price from all quotations; some try to get the best payment terms from all suppliers; some just want to better understand the price situation and then negotiate with their existing suppliers…… Therefore, the sales who have been in international market for certain times will know that it is hard to win orders from the customers from the B2Bs.

 

Despite of this, many Chinese suppliers still would like to pay a lot of money to do advertisement on the B2B; huge companies register as free member on these B2Bs to post their products. The reason is the B2B is a good kind of tool to promote or expose their companies and products without any extra charge.

 

Input a keyword such as “makeup brush” on Google, you will find that the 1^st page is mainly occupied by these B2Bs. It is really a good advertisement and most important is free.

 

Take only 10 minutes everyday to update your products or selling leads on the B2Bs, sometimes, it may bring a big customer for you. It is really worthwhile. So why not try?  Do not lose any potential opportunity will help your business stronger and stronger.

Customers offer samples will help expedite of shipment

Some customers have definite demand on brush types; they have such brush in their hand and would like to custom makeup brush with the same quality and craft. To save time, sometimes, they will only take a picture of the brush and send to the makeup brush manufacturer for quotation.

 

Due to the photo environment or equipment limit, the picture may not be able to show the actual effect of the brushes, especially the work craft, it will cause some errors during quotation. And after quotation, if customers would like to release orders, the makeup brush factory will have to make some samples first and send to customers’ confirmation, only after getting customers’ confirmation on samples, the factory or manufacturer can start mass production, which will need about 20 extra days.

 

If customers can send the samples they have to the makeup brush manufacturers, it will greatly helpful for accurate quotation; also, the sample confirmation will not so necessary. Most professional makeup brush factory can copy the brushes if with samples. Of course, if customers do not require urgent delivery and insist on sample confirmation first, that will also be ok to send samples first.

If customers offer samples, the lead time can be shortened by 15-20 days, which is almost the same as the lead time of mass production.

Custom makeup brush VS existing brush

Many customers have no clear idea on makeup brush ordering, and do not know which one is better: custom makeup brush or order existing brush from the makeup brush manufacturers.

 

In fact, all customers are customizing makeup brushes even if they use the same size/material/color/craft as the brush samples from makeup brush manufacturers, as customers always require their own logo printed on the brush handles and bags. If order existing brushes, nothing should be changed, the logo should be the name of the makeup brush factory. Just like wholesale the goods of a factory or manufacturer.

 

Most Chinese makeup brush manufacturers specialize in custom makeup brushes; we produce brushes strictly according to customers’ requirements on size, material, craft, color etc. Not like other standard parts, we usually have no fixed existing brushes. For an existing part, the size/material/color/craft and logo should be fixed; if anything changed, the item number should be different. Now it is almost the calendar new year, as well as the Chinese New Year! The following is our holiday notice:

Jan 1^st-3^rd: Holiday for calendar new year

Jan 16^th-31^st: Holiday for Chinese New Year

During the holiday, we will only available by emails, the makeup brush factory will be closed; most staff will be out of office.

However, we will have a staff to be on duty on every working day to check emails on sales@tmakeupbrushes.com, so that we can reply customers’ enquiries. Therefore, most emails will be replied ASAP except those about the production or delivery, we can not ensure the exact delivery time since our production line will be stopped during the holiday. We will reply all emails on delivery or production after our back to the office on Feb 1^st.

If customers have any urgent order, please place the order and arrange the prepayment before Jan 16^th (our Chinese New Year). If we can get orders before holiday, the delivery time will be Middle Feb; while if we get orders after the holiday, the delivery time will be much longer, may be delayed to later March.
