Skin allergy may be caused by makeup tools

Skin allergy has no certain relation to weather, season, skin problem or skin care products; if your skin repeatly suffers from allergy, and you have change the skin care products and there is no big change of external environment, but the allergy still exists, then you should check your makeup tools. 1.       Makeup brushes and powder puffs

A new USA research indicates that the trial cosmetics in department stores contain various insidious bacterial and virus including colon bacillus, which is really a threat to female heath. The USA Food and Drug Administration support this result and suggest customers not share cosmetics.

 

Insidious risks

It is found that the so called trials hide various insidious bacterial and virus which can cause people be infected by colon bacillus or fall victim to disease like conjunctivitis.

 

On 24^th, the England Daily Mail quoted the words of Professor Elisabeth Brooks-a Biology professor of Jefferson Medical University in Pennsylvania, who is the research leader: wherever see colon bacillus, you may associate it with excrement, that means that someone does not wash hands after relieve and put her fingers directly into cosmetics.

 

It is shocking that the researcher find the colon bacillus and herpes simplex virus in all inspected cosmetic trials.

People infected colon bacillus will have stomach-ache, diarrhea phenomenon, or even have life danger; herpes can lead the mouth and lips grow a boil. Besides, staphylococcus and streptococcus are also found in the cosmetics trials.

 

Avoid sharing

The research teams took 2 years to collect the cosmetics trials used on face, eyes and lips from department stores, counters and drugstores, take the cosmetics samples and analyze the growth root of bacterial and virus in these cosmetics trials.

 

The research result shows that more than 67% cosmetic trials are infected at different level, the infection rate of samples taken from Saturday is 100%. Sharing cosmetics may be affected many diseases, such as  herpes zoster and conjunctivitis etc.

 

Saturday is usually the busiest day in department stores, with most customers, and cosmetics trials is easiest to be polluted.

 

The USA Food and Drug Administration indicate that: do not share or exchange cosmetics used on eyes, even if she is your good friends. The bacteria carried by others are harmful to you, and the cosmetics trials used by many people have even higher rate to be polluted.

 

For safe consideration, the USA Food and Drug Administration warn customers not share cosmetics.

 

The research also points out that with makeup on face for too long time can also lead to bacterium growing. The makeup artists always tell you that makeup itself is harmful to health.

 

Suggestion

The researchers suggest that: while trying cosmetics, trials can firstly use tissue with alcohol to clean the surface of cosmetic trials. For lotion, choose those that no need to use fingers to dip; for lip gloss, can use disposable Swab instead of common makeup brushes.

 

If customers want to try before purchasing, Brooks suggest you ask individual trials from counters:” we have checked hundreds of counters, every counter has disposable makeup brushes and cotton pads, they are just behind the counter, and are only taken out upon customer requirements.

 

The researchers also suggest that cosmetics for sensitive position like eye or lip should be used with extreme caution, it is best to clean the face after the trial.

USA Research team: Cosmetic Trial will bring a lot of health risks

A research team in Jefferson University took about 2 years to collect the trial cosmetics from department stores and cosmetic counters, and test the bacterial and virus in these trial cosmetics. The result is shocking: the colon bacillus, herpes simplex virus, streptococcus etc are found in these trials, especially the trials collected from Saturday, the bacterial infection rate is 100%.That maybe because there are too many customers at Saturday and the sharing frequency is high, so the trials have high chance to be polluted and infected.

 

The research report believes this result has something to do with cosmetics sharing. For example, the colon bacillus can result in bellyache and diarrhea, the colon bacillus is found in cosmetics maybe means that someone does not wash hands after relieve and put her fingers directly into cosmetics; herpes can lead the mouth and lips grow a boil, so sharing lip gloss may be infected; streptococcus will cause conjunctivitis, it is related to the sharing of cream and eye shadow. Also ,to save cost some suppliers may use the expired cosmetics, which is also a health risk.
