Defect Classification for makeup brushes

For those brushes which are judged as unqualified or defect during customers’ incoming inspection, the Defect Classification will be as follows:

 

Critical defects

Deformation/ Irregular shape

Wrong size

Leak

Broken

Unassembled

Loose

Crack

Short mold, Chipped

Unseal

Wrong packing

Bent

Peel off printing/ Hot stamp

Wrong Color

Wrong component

Wrong printing

 

Major defects

Big scratch

Rough surface

Swell/ Blister

Black spot (More 2 points)

Dent

Dirt

Bubble

Dust Inside packing

Flashing

Slant, Unstraight

Printing; Blur, Incorrected, Incompleted, Unalignment, Scratched, Color

Dye Smear

Color spot (> 0.3 mm.)

 

Minor defects

Dust Outside packing

Dent

Black spot/ Color spot (< 0.3 mm.)

Incomplete packing seal

Color fade

Opacity

Scratch

Flashing

 

The brushes with critical or major defect must be returned to the makeup brush manufacturer for reproduction; the makeup brushes with minor defect can be returned to the manufacturer for rework, or customers can improve or solve the problem at their own location if possible.
