Q: I want to buy a makeup brush set, and wonder how many brushes in a makeup brush set, and what is their function?

 

A: It depends on your personal habit, generally there are the following brushes: 3 eyeshadow brushes in different size (large size, middle size and small size), 1 eye brushes,1 lash curler, 1 lip brush, 1 blush brush, 1 powder brush.

 

For many ladies, they usually use eye brush, blush brush and powder brush. Lash brush is not essential because now the mascara is very good in quality, there is no need to use lash brush. Lip brush is not necessary because many females are using lip gloss not lipstick which needs lip brushes. Some use finger instead of eyeshadow brushes for eyeshadow makeup.

 

Many girls buy the makeup brush sets which have too many makeup brushes, while they often not use them all, so it is somewhat a waste to buy a full makeup brush set. It is suggested to buy individual makeup brushes according to personal demand.
